Rob joined NoaNet in 2000 after working on the initial planning of the organization as a telecom consultant. He has led NoaNet’s technical operations since startup and now focuses on the strategic direction for NoaNet as the Chief Innovation Officer. During his more than 30 years in the telecom industry, he has been professionally focused on the development of large-scale telecommunications systems. He started off managing IT operations at a mining facility, then quickly moved on to one of Silicon Valley’s first tech startups which has given him a unique skillset to imagine what is on the horizon. He received his degree from Boise State University. Rob and his wife have two children and one grandchild and enjoy gardening on their ranch in Idaho.
